Yes, a solution exists. Aru Grupp can produce interior doors with a thin, flat threshold. The thickness of this custom-made smooth door sill can be designed according to the client’s specific needs. Visually, the difference in floor height is particularly well balanced when using wide door jambs and a wide door sill. If you plan to use carpeting in the rooms later, it is important to ensure a sufficient gap remains between the bottom of the door leaf and the floor level in the opening direction, so it does not interfere with the carpet when the door is open.
