You are exhibiting the new wood-aluminium SlimLine window at this year’s Eesti Ehitab fair – how does this window differ from the previous solution?

Yes, indeed, we have taken the AruAL SlimLine window system to the next level. Previously, the slim-profile solution was available as an inward-opening wood-aluminium window. Now, we have also introduced an outward-opening variant, which maintains the same slim appearance and similar technical characteristics.

The new AruAL SlimLine EX wood-aluminium window has been developed to offer greater flexibility for both designers and end clients. It allows us to avoid compromises between design and functionality and enables the use of slim-profile windows much more broadly – regardless of opening direction.

Visually, the result is cohesive and carefully designed. Narrow profiles and larger glass surfaces create a clean architectural line and give the building a modern appearance. This is especially important in contemporary architecture, where details play a significant role.

Comparison of AruAL SlimLine wood-aluminium windows

The new outward-opening AruAL SlimLine EX solution is based on the same principle as the previous inward-opening AruAL SlimLine IN window – an extremely slim profile, maximum glass surface, and a clean architectural line. In practice, this means more natural daylight, a visually lighter façade, and a more modern overall appearance compared to earlier solutions.

Design possibilities have now expanded significantly. Previously, it was often necessary to make compromises depending on whether the window opened inward or outward. Today, this limitation no longer exists. Both inward- and outward-opening SlimLine windows can be designed in a unified style. This gives architects and clients significantly more freedom, allowing different solutions within the same building without compromising visual consistency.
